Cancellation will only be accepted when submitted in writing by the person who signed the Booking Form, and will be effective from the date it is received and acknowledged by the Austin Healey Club (AHC). Cancellation charges will be calculated as a proportion of the 'Total Package Cost' shown on the Booking Form according to the following table.
The above charges represent your maximum liability to the AHC in the event you cancel your booking. The AHC will endeavour to re-sell cancelled packages and so will seek to reduce cancellation charges wherever possible. Those who book for this event are recommended to take out Holiday Insurance with a reputable insurance company to cover payment of cancellation charges for the event itself and for any related travel/transportation costs, plus health insurance and any other insurance which individuals may feel to be appropriate to their circumstances. Such insurance is the sole responsibility of the individual. In the event that the AHC is forced by circumstances, except Force Majeure, to cancel the event, then you will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid to the AHC. In the event that cancellation is due to Force Majeure, then the AHC shall have the right to deduct expenses and costs incurred as a direct result of the circumstances. In either case, the AHC shall not be liable for any consequential losses suffered by individuals due to cancellation of the event (such as charges for travel or car transport or any other costs for which the individual has contracted with others parties).
